All photography is carried out by myself Pat Bloomfield LSWPP. I am member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and British Professional Photographers Associates and am fully committed to providing you a personal and professional service at all times.
This starts with our initial meeting in our home
studio, you will be able to view complete wedding albums
and see the fantastic quality first hand. We will
discuss your wedding day to make sure I will be able to
take the pictures that you desire and that you are happy
that we can fulfil your requirements.
My style is a mix of contemporary and traditional
wedding photography but also including glamorous fashion
images. My photography is inspired by some of the
top wedding photographers both in the UK and abroad.
We offer several standard packages that determine the
level of coverage desired by our wedding clients.
Coverage may start with the bridal preparations
usually 90 minutes before the ceremony. This gives
great opportunity for some fun candid pictures as well
as some more formal shots with the Bridesmaids and
parents before leaving.
Arriving before the ceremony is due gives the
opportunity to photograph the Groom with the best man
and parents, as well as some fun shots before the guests
start to arrive.
During the service I keep a low profile and can
photography from either the front or the back of the
ceremony depending on the situation - discretely
capturing emotions and important moments. Ceremony
coverage will depend on the minister or registrar
conducting the service, which we expect you to discuss
with them in advance.
After the service, weather permitting, I will take
some photographs of the Bride & Groom while the
congregation gather outside the church. Then with
the help of the usher(s) to organise groups we will take
the traditional group shots. However, I'm not a
traditional 'line up and shoot' photographer and wish to
keep these relaxed and enjoyable with a minimum number
of groupings. Ideally these will take no more than
10 to 15 minutes and consist of; Bride's family, Brides
immediate family, Groom's family, Groom's immediate
family, friends and then any special requests.
With the formal shots taken it is time for the Bride
& Groom to make their departure and to be showered with
confetti! This creates great opportunities to
capture some more fun, candid pictures.
Once at the reception, I like to disappear with the
Bride & Groom before the Wedding Breakfast to create some fashion and fun images at
your reception that you will cherish for years to come.
The beginning of the Wedding Breakfast is when I
leave you in peace to enjoy the rest of your day.
I am happy to photograph a mock cake cutting and
speeches if you would like before the meal starts.
Having the speeches before the meal is becoming very
popular, giving the Bride's Father, Groom and Best Man
less time to panic about speaking and enjoy their meal.
The Premium Package gives the option of extended coverage right
through to the first dance.
This is an example of a typical wedding day.
Obviously your wedding is individual and I am very happy
to be as flexible as you need to ensure you will be
happy with the photographs you receive. To this end I incorporate many set poses
that will ensure your images depict your fairy tale wedding you have always dreamt of. This
is achieved with a sequence of poses of the Bride and later the Bride & Groom together. Apart from
this I maintain a discrete profile unless required to ensure that everyone is able to fully enjoy the day.
Digital proofs will typically be ready for viewing
within three weeks, when you will return to our home
studio to make your album selections. Images will
also be uploaded to our on-line Client Area where
friends and family will be able to order their prints.
You will be given a password to ensure no one views your
pictures beforehand. Parent albums and large
framed images, etc. are also available.
Wedding albums will be bespoke and will typically
take six weeks to complete after you've chosen your
album and images. This can be either collected or
posted directly to you.
